About Me
I was born in Karachi, Pakistan. I've spent all of my childhood and teenage years in Dubai, UAE where i also completed my high school. I had a lot of take aways from Dubai. It gave me friendships that will last forever, the perfect educational platform to deal with the challenges presented at the University level but most importantly the importance of understanding people from different cultures and countries. I remember a time in my high school class when we had around 45 students from 23 different nationalities. It went to show exactly how diverse the culture there was. Dubai is a metropolitan city and just like many metropolitan cities it had people come to it from different parts of the world to try and make a good living. The only difference between Dubai and Dallas if any is probably the laid back attitude of Dubai vs the Hustle of Dallas.
I moved to dallas with my family in August of 2010 and have found the transition relatively easy thanks to the visits we had made in the past in our summer vacations.

My first job was at BestBuy where i worked as a wireless sales consultant. i joined in late 2010 and left the job in early 2013. Many of you might be wondering why talk about your job in your ''About Me'' tab and well i have an explanation for that. This was my first ever job and it became an integral part in shaping me as a person. I still remember being that shy, timid person in the interview room not knowing what to expect. The more i dealt with people the more i enhanced my abilities as an individual. I was never one of those pushy sales person but i still knew how to get the job done. I became a vital part of the team receiving plenty of accolades from the company and praise from the managers i worked under. It was an experience that overhauled my personality.
Cricket helps me focus and has been a big part of me since a very young age. I was captain of my high school team and lead the team into the finals of the then Pepsi Cup in 2009. The match wasn't one i am very fond of because we had an unbeaten streak end unfortunately at the wrong time. Captaining the side through that tournament a couple prior to that taught me how it can be to lead and motivate a group of people. It's even harder at times to set the right examples because it almost seems like every move you make will be shadowed by the others. My role model in cricket is ex Pakistani captain and all-rounder Imran Khan. I also run my own Cricket Trolls page on Facebook with the help of my cousin. We have accumulated a littles less then 200 likes on our page in the last 2 months.
I am a soccer fanatic. I support hands down one of the best clubs in the world, Manchester United. The timings of the games are such that i have to wake up quite early on a saturday or sunday morning to catch the games but my excitement knows no boundaries when it comes to have a discussion about the game. I started watching Manchester United in 2006 and have only missed a handful of games live on TV. Once i graduate Manchester is hands down the first destination I'm hitting. Glory Glory Man United.

I absolutely love gaming and whenever get the time hop onto my PS4 to compete against other gamers. The atmosphere can get pretty hostile at times and it is the ones with the cool heads that prevail. Me and a bunch of my friends that i worked with at BestBuy will usually get on friday night and play Call Of Duty and meet up after we are done and talk about the game. The discussions have gotten boring i must admit because we discuss about how dominated and in the words of my favorite boxer Muhammad Ali, ''It isn't bragging if you can back it up''.
